Working on a live brief in collaboration with the 2023 Hartlepool Tall Ships Races, I created a costume for a 1890's fisherman. With an over-sized yellow work shirt, made of hand dyed calico, wool trousers with a buttonhole fly and leather suspenders, the entire costume was aged an distressed to create the impression of the outfit of a hardworking fisherman.
